Administration (SBL, SDL) Current Students
Administration Certification: SBL, SDL, Master’s, Graduate-Level Teaching Courses
Update: St. Rose news and how it affects students:
-
College of St Rose Administration and Leadership program: Current CITE/St Rose administration and leadership (SBL/SDL) students will continue their program without interruption until completion with St Rose or another partner institution. That means there will be no interruption to the program for ALL current CITE/St Rose administration and leadership (SBL/SDL) students
-
As disconcerting as this news is, we anticipate that for all current CITE/St Rose students, the following will occur:
-
Programming will remain intact (course requirements, internships, instruction, etc.)
-
CITE’s current teaching locations will be similar or remain the same.
-
St Rose is still an accredited institution and courses and certification recommendations will be recognized by the State.
-
Under State law, St Rose will be required to continue to make transcripts available now and in the future;
-
CITE will continue to offer all test preparation, seminars and networking sessions as planned.

Attendance
Attendance Policy for Face to Face and Remote Learning Environments:
Overall, as prospective leaders of our nation’s schools, are be expected to exhibit the social emotional skills, knowledge, and dispositions of a leader from the first day of your first class. Effective leaders need to be “present” at all times in class whether in-person or remotely. To be “present,” one is to be acutely attuned to yourself, others, your environment, and the tasks at hand. This requires one to be physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually focused at all times.
Our courses are rigorous, fast-paced, and cohort-based. Missing one class is akin to missing 20% of a course. While one may be able to do the readings, you will not be able to replicate the dialogue and team learning.
