Lisette Caesar – Alumni Spotlight
Lisette Caesar is the founding principal of Mosaic Preparatory Academy (PS 375) in East Harlem. Ms. Caesar has been an educator since 1995. Ms. Caesar was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. As child Ms. Caesar loved working with younger children, helping them learn how to read. From early on she remembers always wanting to be a teacher in New York City. Ms. Caesar attended Marymount Manhattan College where she also became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree. Her two graduate degrees are both from Brooklyn College. Ms. Caesar completed her Ed.D at Sage College. Lisette Caesar has worked as a teacher, staff developer, instructional specialist, achievement specialist and principal for the NYC Department of Education for over 24 years. During her spare time, Lisette enjoys planning events as a Certified Event Planner. She loves planning celebrations for her family, friends and students.
