Maureen Burke

On Sunday, September 21st, we lost a beloved member of the CITE family. 

Maureen Burke worked for CITE from 1999 until 2007, and she also bequeathed us her daughter, Assistant Director Diane Burke who is vital to CITE’s operations. 

Maureen was a funny, smart, no nonsense woman who helped shape the smooth workings of the administration program.  Our College of Saint Rose Partnership would not be the same without her, even today.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Thomas Burke, sister Kitty, brother Tommie,  three children, Diane, Linda and Kevin, and 3 grandchildren, Kristi and Christin and Erin. 

She died after a painful battle with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease.
